About this generator
Reused and guessable passwords remain the most common break-in route. This generator creates passwords on our server using a cryptographically secure random source, with the options that matter: length up to 64 characters, symbols on or off (for systems that reject them), an optional prefix or suffix for naming schemes, and a no-repeat mode. Each password is produced fresh, returned once, and never stored or logged.
Common mistakes
- Reusing one strong password everywhere — a single site breach then opens every account.
- Meeting complexity rules with predictable substitutions (P@ssw0rd1) that crackers try first.
- Storing generated passwords in a plain text file instead of a password manager.
Assumptions & limitations
Entropy is calculated on the random portion only — prefixes and suffixes add length but not randomness. Strength ratings are a guide to guessing resistance, not a guarantee against phishing, malware or a breach at the site you use the password on.

Helium22 Ltd does not save, store, log or otherwise retain any password generated with this tool, nor the prefix, suffix or settings you enter — they are held in memory only for the instant it takes to build your password, then discarded. Because nothing is kept, a password that is lost cannot be recovered or re-issued — copy it somewhere safe before you leave the page.
